If there is anyone here who used to hang out on the Phil Hartman yahoo group board after his passing PLEASE get in touch with me by sending me a youtube message to my name. We should all make a pilgrimage to Catalina next spring, LOL! It's "T" and we all have some catching up to do! Hugs to you all, I miss ya!
  4. ADAMINA Says:
I'm not trying to make one of those finger-pointing comments, because this isn't meant to be that way, but it must've been especially hard for Andy to read that letter.
  5. Lacey Says:

  8. RALEIGH Says:
I live in the UK and only know Phil by The Simpsons, we didn't get newsradio. I didn't know that he had died until I watched this a few months ago. It's so sad. Maura looks so heartbroken.
  9. Callum Says:
I watched this show all the time when it was on NBC. I really want to get seasons on DVD. And Phil Hartman was the glue that kept this show together, when he sadly left, it wasn't the same.
  10. Kempe Says:
R.I.P. Phil Hartman. maybe gone but his memories will last forever. =D
  11. ORLAN Says:
It was May 28th, 1998, and you're right, that was a truly sad and heartbreaking day for his family, his friends, his fans, and Hollywood. Those poor kids. His spirit lives on forever though.
  12. Lillie Says:
You said it all. As I am watching this i have tears in my eyes. He would have wanted us to celebrate his life in ways that could only make us laugh. I can't believe its been 10 years and May 29th, 1998 was a very sad day. May he rest in peace and forever live on.
  13. Galice Says:
I think thats the way he would have wanted to end his years on the show with a funny and tearful ending
  14. Kanti Says:
Phil Hartman was..well..more than perfection. He is GOD to me,billion miles above average religious person's God.Every second of his entire life was like the most beautiful painting of Renaissance painter Raphael. There will never be anyone like him.I still can't believe that comedy giant went away so soon.World is a bad place, but in 1948-1998 world was stunningly beautiful when Phil Hartman lived.
  15. Clarissa Says:
I cannot believe that it has been 10 years since this happened :(
  16. SALMONEUS Says:
It's sooooo very sad to watch them break down like that...:*(
  17. Genisia Says:
I watch this and I still break down
  18. CALA Says:
lol the cultprit of john f k
  19. CALANTHE Says:
I teared up the very FIRST time I watched (1998), but NOW, I actually CRY when I see it, especially since it's already been an unbelieveable 10 years since Phil's passing. :*(
  20. Jezebel Says:
When you work with someone for a couple of years, you grow to love them, and Phil was obviously a loveable guy. It's so sad to see them break down like that, and it's so genuine to watch the actors be their REAL selves.
  21. Merna Says:
I remember watching this and just breaking down in tears because you can see how much he meant to the rest of them. I always thought he was the best on the show and one of the funniest guys I'd ever seen and I miss him like crazy.
  22. Esme Says:
I did not expect to cry at this, but at the end, when Dave starts crying, and you can see the rest of the cast break down a bit .... hard to watch. R.I.P Phil Hartman.
  23. Barwolf Says:
It is quite painful to watch, yes, but the cast did a good job, and it's like we can still hear his voice as all the characters are reading the letters "he" wrote. Very touching (but funny too).
  24. ASIM Says:
It's very hard to watch. Phil Hartman was so funny.
  25. RUNE Says:
Yup, and I've been missing him for a long time too. He was a truly great actor also.
